BAD habits you most likely done at Christmas

  • Drank very little water, but consumed large quantities of alcohol
  • Large portions for your main meals e.g. The Christmas lunch

  • Frequent, BIG, UNHEALTHY snacks

  • Eating high calorie desserts e.g. Christmas pudding, cheesecakes, sticky toffee pudding.
  • Lack of sleep because of excitement of opening presents! Lack of sleep helps regenerate tissues, build bone and muscle and help strenghte the immune system.
TIPS to do next Christmas and/or combat the festive FAT NOW
  • Stay away from high sugar, gluten chocolate like quality streets, tin of Roses etc. Opt for Gluten free, low sugar, dark chocolate
  • Gluten free sausgages, you can get them from all supermarkets http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=gluten+free&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=194174  these are for your pigs wrapped in blankets
  • Choose alcohol free wine why? Low in price, Lower in calories and tastes just as good. More toxins in alcoholic wine and it's more calorific, toxins in the body means more time to absorb in the bloodstream, more time to digest , bloats you stomach and over consumption of alcohol means no time to burn these calories and weight gain occurs.
  • Swap saugage rolls, cheese and cheesecakes from christmas spread with raw carrots, cucumber and celery sticks with hummus dip. Pastry
  • Don't eat the skin from the turkey, the skin is high in fat, you want a rich protein content from the turkey not the fat!
  • Try a high intense 30-60 minute workout. My exercise classes burn an average of 500-1000 caloires in 1 workout. Burn your last meal and more.
